The seminars aims at introducing students to current research in the area of skills in teaching english through comprehensive reading for projects and current research in this area. the students are introduced to the needs of english teacher to be in touch with up to date information used in teaching english, students are expected to present and discuss the latest research with his/her classmates. subsequently, the students form like intellectual forum presenting new ideas, discussing problems with each other, they determine effective ways and challenges in identifying effective techniques.

Course Objectives – Seminar in English Language Teaching Skills

The course aims to:

1. Introduce students to current research and emerging trends in English language teaching skills.

2. Develop students’ abilities to critically read, analyze, and discuss recent studies related to English language teaching.

3. Enhance students’ awareness of the importance of continuous professional development and staying updated with current practices in ELT.

4. Develop students’ skills in presenting, communicating, and exchanging research-based ideas with peers.

5. Enable students to identify effective teaching techniques, challenges, and solutions through collaborative discussion and intellectual engagement.
