The purpose of this study was to examine the association of social-emotional loneliness and life satisfaction, among Palestinian university students in the West Bank. Participants were 500 volunteer undergraduate students (36.4% males and 63.6% females) ranging in age from 18 to 26 years old. Data were collected using the Social Emotional Loneliness Scale, Satisfaction with Life Scale, and a Demographic Information Form. There were significant gender differences regarding social emotional loneliness, and male students’ scores were higher in social, romantic and family loneliness than those of female students.
