This research studies the theme of peace in pre -Islamic poetry ( AI Jahilia poetry) . It specifically tackles the Arab attitude towards peace and war The study shows that the Arabs In this period were never war advocates; on the contrary, they were advocates of peace . Furthermore, they were antagonists to war in most cases . They would exend every effort towards the achievement or peace.
