  • CELTA Qualified from International House, 2014. (Pass A).
  • BA in English Language and Literature, An-Najah National University, 2009-2013. GPA: 3.74. (Excellent)

 

Work Experience related to Teaching:

  • September, 2014 – Present day: Teacher of English at An-Najah National University. Courses: Reading, Writing, Oral, Grammar, Drama, Introduction to Literature, Shakespeare, Writing and Research, TEFL 1,TEFL 2, Current Issues in Teaching English, Teaching Aids and Design.
  • December, 2012-May, 2013: Teacher Assistant to Prof. Miriyam Aouragh from Oxford University. Subject: Communication and Journalism: main duties included correcting essays, and exam papers.
  • January – March, 2012: Tutor of Conversational English at the Continuing Education Centre, at An-Najah National University. Two courses, 60 hours in total
  • February – April, 2010: Tutor of Creative Writing for BA students of Literature at An-Najah National University.

 

Other Work Experience:

  • September - November, 2013:  International  Student Ambassador for the International Office at the University of Sussex.  Main duties included campus tours for international student visitors/prospective students; focus groups within the university; live chats with prospective international students; representing the university at open days and graduations; and administrative work within student recruitment services.
  • November 2012 – May 2013:  Translator for International Center, An-Najah National University.
  • October 2012 – January 2013:  Interpreter and translator for “Popular Media and Online Politics” senior class at An-Najah University with Professor Miriyam Aouragh from the University  of Oxford.
  • May 2012:  Organizer of 1st International Conference on Current Academic Research, An-Najah National University.  Main responsibilities included organizing, reporting, emailing, conference paper admissions, hospitality and problem solving.
  • July 2011:  Interpreter for "The European Union and Middle East Conference''. 
  • May 2011:  Interpreter for ''International Graduate Conference on Science, Humanities and Engineering''.
  • September 2009- August 2012:  Interpreter for the Quality Assurance Unit, An-Najah National University.
