Ms. Ghaidaa Shaqour is a lecturer at An-Najah National University, Palestine. She graduated from the same university in 2015 and obtained a BSc degree in Optometry. After graduation, she worked at Al-Manarah Optical Centre as a manager and optometrist. Then she worked at An-Najah National University as a research and teaching assistant for four years. She got a wide range of experience in clinical teaching and primary eye care provision.
Ms. Shaqour graduated from Cardiff University in the UK and obtained an MSc degree in Clinical Optometry. During her MSc, she focused her studies on acute eye care, low vision, dry eye disease, contact lenses, paediatric optometry and scientific research areas. Her latest research focused on shared eye care services in the UK, the ideal electronic optometry record system, quality of life among low vision people and low vision services provision in Palestine.
