Haya Samaana is a Senior Lecturer and Coordinator of the Computer Engineering Program in the Computer Engineering Department at An-Najah National University, Palestine. She received her B.Sc. in Computer Engineering from An-Najah National University in 2004 and her M.Sc. in Computer Engineering from the Jordan University of Science and Technology in August 2006.
In 2020, she worked at the DAS Lab at Concordia University, Canada, focusing on Software Engineering for AI. She later joined the REALISE Lab at Concordia University in 2025, where her research explored Large Language Models (LLMs) for code generation, security, cost, and quality (REALISE Lab Visitors).
Her main research interests include Software Engineering, Software Engineering for AI Systems, AI for Software Engineering, and Mining Software Repositories.
