The study examined the provisions of the crime of torture in Palestinian legislation and its compatibility with international conventions. This study aimed at defining the concept of torture and determining its relation to the human right to physical integrity. The study aimed to determine the provisions of torture in Palestinian legislation and international conventions, And to clarify the consequences of the human right to non-torture and ill-treatment, Where many of the international conventions on the crime of torture, most notably the Universal Declaration of Human Rights,The Convention against Torture, the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights and the four Geneva Conventions,In addition to many regional charters, notably the European Convention on Human Rights, the American Convention on Human Rights, the African Charter on Human Rights, the Arab Charter on Human Rights, In addition, many Palestinian legislations dealt with the crime of torture, most notably the Palestinian Basic Law, the Palestinian Penal Procedures Law and the Palestinian Reform and Rehabilitation Centers Law. The researcher used the analytical legal method based on analyzing the texts of internal legislation and international conventions.
