Abstract:

This study aimed to identify the science teachers’ teaching practices associated with the nature of scientific enterprise, and the impact of the variables. A sample of 97 upper basic school science teachers from the Tulkarm area was selected randomly.  The researcher used descriptive method; the study tool was a questionnaire. The results of the study showed that there were no significant differences in teaching practices due to the variables.  The teaching practices associated with the scientific activity and knowledge, and associated with the societal contents of scientific activity were the most visible. In the light of the results, the researcher recommended the need to integrate the concept of scientific enterprise in the ministry’s training programs and future plans regarding the curricula development and supervisors’ and teachers’ rehabilitation.
