This study is part of a stream of research focusing on the different facets of supply chain management. The main objective of this study is to investigate the adoption of social responsibility practices within the context of supply chain management under operational and economic restrictions. This field study concludes that there are local and global considerations pertaining to social responsibility within the context of supply chain practices.
