This research discusses the legal methods and means by which a creditor can collect a debt from a debtor, specifically in cases where the debtor, who is financially capable, delays payment.

The research is divided into three sections. The first section addresses the opinions of jurists regarding the creditor's ability to recover the debt forcibly from the debtor as a method of debt recovery. The second section explores the process of resorting to the judiciary for debt collection.

The final section discusses the last method of debt collection, which is reconciliation (settlement) of the debt.
