The study deals with the approach of Imam al-Baghawi in the narration of the Isra'iliyyat in his interpretation called (The Milestones of Discovery in the Interpretation of the Qur’an), especially since it was commonly said among scholars that he scarcely mentioned the Israeli narratives, and after investigating the research, we conclude that the truth was the opposite.  Al-Baghawi has mentioned almost all the narratives about the Israelites and their prophets that he came across. He mentions them with little details, no comments or any later remarks. He doesn’t discuss any of them or mention the ones worth bringing up. Also, he mentions the narratives without providing any source or evidence. The majority of the Isra'iliyyat that are mentioned in Al-Baghawi’s interpretation are at odds with our Sharia, the ones which are ignored, or the worthless to bring up. Whereas, the mentioned narratives that comply with our Sharia are few.
