This study dealt with the issue of divorce and the social directives related to it through tafsir Al-Manar by Sheikh Muhammad Rashid Rida, where social reform was the most prominent interest for him and his teacher Imam Muhammad Abdo. 

This study has demonstrated how tafsir Al-Manar helped reduce the divorce rates and preserved the dignity of the divorced woman and warned against harming her. If a divorce is lawful, it occurs for some wisdom or social necessity. Although it is evil and hateful, it is inevitable at times.

The question of the study was to what extent tafsir Al-Manar was interested in the phenomenon of divorce and dealing with it, and how it brought this issue to light and directed it socially, also how it presented the phenomenon to the society as a solution to intractable social crises, so that people take its good and its positives and avoid its risks and negatives.
