The purpose of this study was to identify the levels of psychological empowerment and aspiration among football players in the Palestinian league for professionals and the relationship between them. In addition to determine the differences in psychological empowerment and aspiration among football players according to the variables of type of professionalism, playing experience, and player participation. The study was conducted on a stratified random sample including (150) players, and the descriptive approach in its correlational and analytical methods were used for its compatibility to the nature of study. To gather data, Salem (2022) psychological empowerment scale and Alatrash and Shata (2016) aspiration scale were applied. Data were analyzed using SPSS. The results revealed that the levels of psychological empowerment and aspiration among football players in the Palestinian league for professionals were high, as the means of response for the total score were (3.83. 3.84) respectively. Also, there were statistically positive and significant relationship between psychological empowerment and aspiration (r= 0.73, P≤ 0.01). finally, there were statistically significant differences in the total score of psychological empowerment and aspiration among football players according to the variables of type of professionalism in favor of (total professionalism), playing experience in favor of (above 10 years), and player participation in favor of (principal player). The study recommends the necessity of psychological preparation of football players during the sport competition, and conduction similar studies on the other team sports and for each gender.
