This study aims at identifying the obstacles facing handball in schools from the point of view of physical education teachers, as well as to identify the effect of some variables such as gender, educational qualification, and years of experience. In order to achieve this, the researcher used a questionnaire consisting of 49 items distributed among a sample of 56 physical education teachers. After distributing the questionnaire, it was gathered, codified, entered into the computer, and processed statistically using the SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Sciences). The results of the study indicated moderate degree of response to the main study question about obstacles facing handball in schools from the point of view of physical education teachers. Also, the results showed that there were no statistically significant differences at (α ≤0.05) level about obstacles facing handball in schools from the point of view of physical education teachers due to the variables of gender, educational qualification, and years of experience. Considering the results of the study, the study suggested several recommendations. including reducing the level of obstacles facing the handball game in schools by paying attention to the game and conducting extensive studies on this subject.
