Distance Mathematics Learning Competencies Among High Basic Teachers In Nablus Governorate Mathematics

The current study aimed at identifying the competencies of distance Mathematics learning for teachers of the upper basic stage in the Nablus governorate. To achieve the objectives of this study, a mixed methodology was used and the data was collected by a qesionnaire and an interview. The questionnaire consisting of (40) items was prepared. The study sample consisted of (185) male and female teachers from the two directorates of Nablus and its south, and they were chosen in a stratified random way. The interview questions consisting of seven questions were prepared, targeting (12) male and female teachers. The results of the study showed that the degree of availability of educational competencies of all three types (planning competencies, implementation competencies, and evaluation 
competencies) was high. As for the technological competencies, they were of a
medium degree, and the results showed that there were no statistically significant differences in the degree of educational and technological competencies available due to the variables of academic qualification, scientific specialization, location of the directorate, and years of experience. It also showed the existence of differences attributed to the variables of gender and training. After recording and analyzing the interviews, results showed agreement with the results of the questionnaire Researchers recommended conducting more studies and specialized research in the distance learning system, and in the competencies required for it.
