Humanitarian aid plays a crucial role in mitigating the effects of conflict and crisis. However, in complex and volatile environments like Gaza, challenges such as access restrictions, coordination inefficiencies, and political dynamics hinder aid effectiveness. This study investigates the factors influencing humanitarian aid delivery in Gaza, assessing best practices, challenges, and policy implications to enhance future interventions. This research adopts a mixed-methods approach, combining qualitative and quantitative data. Primary data is collected through structured interviews with aid workers, policymakers, and local beneficiaries. Additionally, case studies of past humanitarian interventions provide insights into best practices and failures. Secondary data sources include reports from international organizations and policy documents. Thematic analysis is used to identify key trends, while quantitative data provides statistical validation. The study emphasizes the importance of adopting a coordinated, inclusive, and rights-based approach to humanitarian aid and reconstruction efforts in the Gaza Strip. By addressing urgent humanitarian needs, promoting protection of civilians, engaging in diplomatic efforts, fostering international cooperation, empowering communities, and promoting sustainability, stakeholders can work together to alleviate suffering and promote resilience among Gaza's population. Furthermore, local capacity-building initiatives enhance the sustainability of aid programs. However, issues such as donor dependency, logistical delays, and security risks remain significant barriers. The study recommends a shift toward localized aid management, increased transparency in funding allocation, and improved coordination mechanisms between governmental and non-governmental actors. Additionally, policies that facilitate community-led initiatives and resilience-building efforts should be prioritized to ensure long-term sustainability. Strengthening governance structures for aid distribution and fostering regional and international partnerships can further enhance humanitarian response effectiveness in Gaza and similar conflict-affected regions.
