In Palestine, high radiation exposure and Fitzpatrick skin types III and IV increase the risk of photodamage.1 However, regional studies have revealed inadequate sun protection practices. 2–5 Given the scarcity of exploratory research, we conducted a study to explore the barriers to and facilita- tors of sunscreen use among young adults in the Palestinian West Bank. This was a mixed-method study using a constructivist/ interpretivist paradigm.
