This study aims to explore the impact of the amount of zakat given to the poor in achieving sustainable development and eradicating poverty from the perspective of Islamic jurisprudence. It focuses on the role of zakat in improving the economic and social conditions of the poor, and how to invest in them to enhance economic sustainability. The study addresses the views of scholars on determining the amount of zakat and its impact on achieving its social and economic goals. The study adopted a descriptive-analytical method by analyzing relevant jurisprudential texts and reviewing the experiences of countries such as Sudan, Malaysia, and Kuwait in utilizing zakat funds for comprehensive development. The results showed that effective management of zakat contributes to achieving economic sufficiency for the poor, promotes social justice, and alleviates poverty in the long term.
