العوامل المؤثرة في وجهة نظر طالبات جامعة النجاح الوطنية في العمر المثالي للزواج وعدد الأطفال المرغوب في إنجابهم

هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف على العمر الذي يعتبر مثاليا للزواج من قبل الطالبات في جامعة النجاح الوطنية، وكذلك السلوك الإنجابي المستقبلي لهن، على اعتبار أن تلك الطالبات قد وفدن من خلفيات اقتصادية واجتماعية مختلفة، كذلك فإن هذه الفئة هي التي ستكون الأكثر تعليما بين أمهات المستقبل. بلغ متوسط العمر المثالي للزواج من قبل نحو 22.1 سنة وقد اختلف هذا العمر باختلافات المتغيرات الديموغرافية والاقتصادية والاجتماعية للطالبة ووالديها. لكن لم توجد هناك أية اختلافات تجاه النظرة نحو بعض قضايا الزواج من قبل الطالبات. بلغ متوسط عدد الأطفال المرغوب في إنجابهم من قبل الطالبات نحو 4.3 طفلا، وقد اختلف هذا العدد باختلافات المتغيرات الديموغرافية والاقتصادية والاجتماعية للطالبة ووالديها. كان لعدد الأطفال الذين أنجبتهم الأم الأثر الأكبر في اختيار العدد المرغوب فيه من الأطفال من قبل الطالبات مستقبلا، ووجد أن غالبية الطالبات فضلن الحصول على أطفال ذكور أكثر من الإناث.

Factors Affecting An-Najah National University Female Students' Point of View about The Ideal Age of Marriage and the Number of Children They Would Like to Have Abstract This study aims at investigating An-Najah National University female students' point of view about the ideal age of marriage as well as their future children bearing behavior. Based on the fact that these female students came from diverse economic and social backgrounds, their category will be the most educated among future mothers. The average ideal age considered by the female students is 22.1 year. This number varied according to demographic, economic and social variables of the female student and her parents. However, regarding their stand about some other issues related to marriage, no real differences were detected. The average desired number of children students want to have is 4.3 children. This number varied according to demographic, economic and social variables of the student and her parents. The number of children a student had in her family had a direct effect on the number of choice of the students' future children. It was also found that most female students would rather have male not female children.
