Some of the Anthropometric Characteristics of Fourth and Fifth Grades Aged (9-10)Years Students in Nablus District

The purpose of this study was to investigate the Anthropometric characteristics of fourth and fifth grades aged (9-10) years student in Nablus District. The Sample of the study consisted of (300) male and female student (150) for each. Results indicated a significant differences at (α = 0.05) in the (leg, Foot, Arms and Lengths) in favor of male. While the differences were in favor of female on Thigh and trunk length parameter. In addition, the results indicated a significant differences at (α =0.05) in Arm circumstances,(Shoulder, Thigh) widths in favor of female. While the are no significant differences at (α =0.05) in the height and body weight due to gender. The researcher recommended that increase attention on Anthropometric parameters by physical teachers in the evaluating students physical developments.

هدفت الدراسة إلى تحديد بعض الخصائص الانثروبومترية (القياسات الجسمية من حيث الأطوال والمحيطات والأعراض وسمك ثنايا الدهن) عند طلبة الصفين الرابع والخامس الأساسيين في مدارس محافظة نابلس، بالإضافة إلى معرفة الفروق في هذه القياسات تبعا لمتغيري الجنس والصف. وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (300) طالب وطالبة من طلبة المرحلة الأساسية في مدارس محافظة نابلس. أظهرت نتائج الدراسة أنه لا توجد فروق ذات دلاله إحصائية عند مستوى( a = 0.05) بين الذكور والإناث في الصفين الرابع والخامس على متغيري طول ووزن الجسم، بينما كانت الفروق دالة ولصالح الذكور في أطوال الرجل والساق والساعد والكتف، وكانت الفروق لصالح الإناث في طول الفخذ والجذع. كما أظهرت نتائج الدراسة أن هناك فروقا ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى (a
