Asymmetrical Me2NCH2CH2NH2/copper(II)/bromide complex was synthesized in a good yield under ultrasonic vibration mode. The desired complex was characterized using, elemental EA, conductometric, UV-Vis, FTIR, MS and EDX analysis. The thermal behaviour of the complex was performed by TG. DFT calculations in order to investigate the complex structure parameters. The absorption and viscosity titration measurements reflected the desired complex as strong intercalate DNA-binder with high Kb binding constant value. © 2018 University of Mohammed Premier Oujda Morocco.
