Energy  security  is  one  of  the  major  issues  in  Palestine.  Gradual increase  in  energy  demand  has  created  situations  of  tension  and conflicts  among  energy  resources  which  imbalances  the  food security and water availability. The deprived accessibility of energy services in rural areas is one of the basic barriers to economic and social  development.  People  from  rural  areas  are  not  even  able  to grasp  the  minimum  criteria  of  sustainable  energy  supply  i.e. affordability, accessibility and safety. This paper studies the impact of access to electricity via solar-PV systems in rural communities in Palestine. This Paper has brought a case study from Palestine and showcased the linkages that exist between energy, water, and food in  the  rural  areas.  The  case  study  shows  how  the  provisioning  of energy  leads  to  assured  water  availability  and  better agricultural productivity and food security. Further the Paper discusses where the linkages lie and how the establishment of such linkages helps in transforming the landscape of  such villages and leads to a sustainable future. The rural sector is mostly neglected, when there is energy assessment or planning efforts for a country. It is due to the fact the rural energy plays a very minor role in national energy balance as they consume very less energy and less or no data at all. This research paper has attempted to work in methodology and tools for a new circular economy model for nexus application in rural areas in Palestine.
