Course Description

Qualitative research methodology: It aims to discuss the theoretical information that are related to the designing of qualitative research methods, including: major concepts and methods, sampling techniques, data collection techniques and data analysis.

Course Objectives
  • The student will be able to:
  •  Understand the concept of qualitative research.
  • Differentiae between qualitative and quantitative research.
  • Define the meanings of many qualitative designs.
  • Use multiple approaches of Q R
  • Practice the qualitative methods of research.
Intended learning Outcomes and Competences

Mental health and psychiatric nursing course/ theory will provide the students with the basic knowledge and understanding of the various aspects of mental health, and mental illness.

The students will also be able to notify, define, and understand the meaning of mental health, mental illness, and to know many psychiatric illness from the nursing perspective and care.
