Biography

Jamal Abo Omar born in 1957 at Burqa, Nablus , Palestine. He is a professor of Animal Science at An- Najah National University, Faculty of Agriculture. He holds BS, MS  and Phd from Jordan University, Texas and M and Colorado state University, respectively.

He is an expert in the field of animal production and related disciplines.  Abo Omar authored and coauthored more than 70 original research articles that were published in major international peer journals as well as more than 20 technical papers. He supervised more than 30 master students at An- Najah National University and other Palestinian Universities. Abo Omar served as editorial board of An- Najah University journal and active member in several committees. He is a member of director board of the major poultry farm in Palestine.
