Dr. Nidal Yousef Dwaikat is an Associate Professor and an international expert in higher education policy, research, quality assurance, academic accreditation, and global university rankings. He has more than 20 years of academic and executive leadership experience in universities and educational institutions across the Middle East and Europe. Dr. Dwaikat has also served as a consultant to numerous Arab and international universities, companies, and international organizations. He currently serves as an Academic Development and Accreditation Expert at the Police Academy of the State of Qatar.

Previously, Dr. Dwaikat served as Vice President for Planning and Quality at An-Najah National University for ten years, where he led numerous institutional initiatives in strategic planning, institutional excellence, academic accreditation, higher education governance, and global university rankings. He also held senior leadership responsibilities in quality management and academic program development, contributing to the successful attainment of international accreditation for several academic programs.

Dr. Dwaikat is widely recognized as an expert in global university rankings, having led and supervised institutional performance enhancement projects aimed at improving universities' positions in leading international rankings, including the QS World University Rankings, Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings, and the Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU). He also possesses extensive expertise in institutional performance indicators, strategic planning, and organizational excellence.

Dr. Dwaikat holds advanced degrees from prestigious European universities and has extensive experience in teaching, scientific research, and academic supervision. He has supervised postgraduate research and served as an examiner for master's theses and doctoral dissertations at universities in Palestine, Sweden, Qatar, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

His research interests focus on higher education policy, quality management in higher education, academic accreditation, supply chain and logistics management, quantitative research, artificial intelligence in education, strategic planning, and institutional excellence. He has published numerous peer-reviewed articles in internationally recognized journals, presented at international conferences and workshops, and provided consultancy and professional training to academic and governmental institutions in the fields of quality assurance and institutional development.

Dr. Dwaikat serves on the editorial boards of several prestigious international scientific journals and acts as a reviewer for numerous internationally indexed journals listed in Clarivate Web of Science and Scopus. He also evaluates international research projects and scientific publications. Furthermore, he serves as an international judge for the Times Higher Education (THE) Awards and the QS Reimagine Education Awards—widely recognized as the "Oscars of Higher Education" and regarded as among the most prestigious international awards in the higher education sector.
