Associate Professor Ahmad Adel Hanani holds a bachelor’s degree in public health from Al-Quds University (Abu Dis), obtained in 2004. He earned his master’s degree in Psychological Counseling in 2007 and a Ph.D. in Psychological Counseling from Ankara University in Ankara, Turkey.
Dr. Hanani currently serves as the Art Therapy Program & Psychotherapy and Rehabilitation Program coordinator at the Faculty of Graduate Studies and as a faculty member at the Faculty of Medicine and Allied Medical Sciences at An-Najah National University. Previously, he was Head of the Health Monitoring Department at Modern University College- Ramallah. He also served as a psychological and academic advisor for Arab schools in the Turkish capital, Ankara, and worked as the coordinator of the Youth Program and the Health Program at the international organization "Tomorrow’s Youth Organization," which implements psychosocial programs in Nablus Governorate.
Throughout his academic career, Dr. Ahmad Hanani has published more than 20 research papers in international and specialized journals in the fields of mental health and psychological sciences.
