The Level of knowledge of Basic Motor Skills and The Prevention of Sports Injuries among Female Trainers of Fitness Centers in Nablus Governorate
Abstract
The purpose of the study was to identify the level of knowledge of basic motor skills and the prevention of sports injuries among female trainers of fitness centers in nablus governorate. To achieve that, the study was conducted on an available purposive sample including (77) female trainers of fitness centers in nablus governorate. The researcher used the descriptive- survey approach for its compatibility with the study aims. Data were analyzed using SPSS and the level of significance was fixed at (0.05). The results of the study revealed that the level of knowledge of basic motor skills among female trainers of fitness centers in nablus governorate was high, as the mean of response for the total score was (4.01), the highest mean of response was on the hop skill (4.01); followed by landing skill (4.01), and the lowest mean of response was on jump skill (3.98). Also, the knowledge level of prevention of sports injuries among female trainers of fitness Centers in nablus governorate was high, as the mean of response for the total score was (4.11).
The researchers recommends the necessity of organizing training courses to spread the knowledge of basic motor skills and the prevention methods of sports injuries for all male and female trainers of fitness centers.
