This study aims to review the bibliometric and main themes of the publications on FinTech and financial inclusion. Financial inclusion aims to enhance the accessibility, speed, security, and cost-effectiveness of financial services. Financial technology (FinTech) plays a pivotal role by integrating modern technology and innovations into financial services, striving to improve efficiency and competitiveness. The COVID-19 pandemic emphasized the urgency of digital financial inclusion, particularly for underserved populations, necessitating cost-effective digital solutions tailored to marginalized communities. This study utilized a bibliometric analysis for 1206 documents from the Web of Science database spanning 2019 to 2023. The analysis identified primary themes related to financial inclusion elements, the impact of emerging financial technology, and the FinTech-inclusion nexus. Identified gaps in the literature provide avenues for future research and underscore the evolving FinTech landscape's contribution to financial inclusivity. This study enhances understanding among financial institutions and policymakers regarding FinTech’s pivotal role in financial inclusion, offering insights for academic research and policy development in this evolving domain.
