Cost-Consequence Analysis of the Return to Work (RTW) Program for Workers with Disabilities in Indonesia: Health, Economic and Productivity Outcomes

This retrospective cost-consequence analysis compared 1,353 return-to-work program claims with 10,602 usual-care claims for workers with disabilities in Indonesia. Program participants had higher direct medical costs, while return-to-work rates were 84.0% versus 20.3% in usual care. The authors report the health, economic and productivity outcomes separately to inform decisions about rehabilitation services.
