Dr. Faten Amer is a Palestinian assistant professor and researcher in the Faculty of Pharmacy at An- Najah National University. She holds a PhD in health sciences with a specialization in health services management and health policies, and she is also a licensed pharmacist.

Her research focuses on improving safety and quality in the healthcare sector and hospitals. Her areas of expertise include:

• Engagement of physicians, nurses, and patients

• Evaluation of healthcare performance and quality

• Health system strengthening and patient safety

• Earning prestigious scholarships, such as the Stipendium Hungaricum PhD scholarship

• Publishing research articles in Q1 journals, achieving an impact factor of 112 and an h-index of 6 within three years

• Teaching university courses on healthcare quality and safety, and clinical research methods
