Dr. Aysar Yasin is currently associate professor at  Energy Engineering department at the Faculty of Engineering at An-Najah National University. He is specialized  in renewable energy and energy efficiency. The field of research is in renewable energy distribution systems, especially solar systems, as well as rationalization of energy consumption and energy efficiency and has several research papers. He now oversees several research projects and has served as a consultant to many local and international institutions in the field of renewable energy. Previously, he was a technical director at the Energy and Environment Research Center of the Palestinian Energy Authority and was responsible for implementing several projects.
