Dr. Abdel-Ghani Saifi is an Assistant Professor of Science/STEM Education at An-Najah University. Dr. Saifi's research focuses on K-12 science and STEM education. In particular, he is interested in supporting reform-based education for science teachers while simultaneously understanding their beliefs. This is especially critical as science classrooms shift toward STEM-integrated pedagogies and curricula. Dr. Al-Saifi also has a passion for working with kindergarten students. He trained kindergarten teachers as part of a project to develop kindergarten teachers in Palestine. He also trained science teachers from first through twelfth grade to understand how changes in teaching affect classrooms - especially toward Integrated STEM Curricula - on their interests, attitudes, and beliefs about STEM fields. ", he participated in many projects international, regional and local conferences, to provide scientific papers or membership in scientific and preparatory committees or management, participated in the membership of the various committees to serve the university quality assurance, and the arbitration of educational research at the university and the Ministry of Education level, and supervised many theses of Science in education program and methods of teaching programs, it is a community activist in the community institutions in Palestine.
